The new VibScanner 2 Ex is a next-generation, explosion protection system for quickly detecting machine vibration in hazardous work environments. Measuring simultaneously on three axes, the VibScanner 2 Ex sets the benchmark for fast and accurate measurements of machine, gear, and bearing issues.
This is the ultimate tool for fast and accurate machine vibration measurements. The VibScanner 2 Ex heightens efficiency and data quality. In just a quarter of the time of a standard data-collector, it precisely measures available data in three axes. Equipped with a triaxial sensor, it requires only one measurement point and the click of a button to begin collecting machine data.
This device is ideal for route-based maintenance jobs in environments where explosion protection standards are required. Its rugged magnetic foot of the triaxial sensor fits perfectly on the housing of any motor, pump, fan, or other rotating device, detecting vibration right near the source.
The VibScanner 2 Ex will diminish worries about finding the right measurement points at the machine. Because it features a Prüftechnik triaxial sensor, just one measurement point is required instead of three separate ones. This saves considerable time without sacrificing data quality. VIBGUARD IIoT offers a choice of 12, 16 or 20 measuring channels which are sampled in parallel and synchronously. This allows even the most complex equipment to be continuously monitored and protected against unplanned shutdowns.
VIBGUARD IIoT works autonomously and performs the measurement tasks automatically. The measurement data such as time signal, characteristic value, FFT spectrum, kinetic wave path (orbits), or torque are processed in parallel and almost in real time and can be correlated with the running production process. The fast data processing makes VIBGUARD IIoT the perfect monitoring and diagnostic system for systems with short operating cycles, such as cranes, machine tools, presses, or for machines with highly dynamic processes, such as test benches, wind turbines or chain conveyors. All critical fans and pumps can also be monitored easily but effectively with VIBGUARD IIoT.
VIBGUARD IIoT measures time signals, overall values, FFT spectra, shock pulse, orbits and much more on either 12, 16 or 20 parallel channels for almost all kind of signal inputs. Vibration, Tacho Pulse, temperature and any other relevant diagnostic inputs like torque are processed and can be correlated to the actual manufacturing process.
Measurements are integrated seamlessly to process control systems via a MQTT interface. Intelligent data management tools allow for efficient data reduction.
Advanced alarm handling tools like variable frequency band alarms and frequency band trending are available for monitoring specific machine failures like unbalance, misalignment, gear mesh and bearing failures.
VIBGUARD IIoT can easily be connected to the buffered outputs of real time protection systems in order to perform in-depth analysis and monitoring of turbomachinery

EDDYTHERM 2x handles work pieces and bearings up to 80 kg (176 lbs). These can be heated up to 240°C (465°F) by induction. Available options: 200 – 575V at 50/60Hz.
How does induction heating work? In just a few minutes, the bearings are safely preheated by induction so that they expand and glide effortlessly onto the shaft.

When the bearing cools down, it assumes its original size and thus guarantees the desired tight fit on the shaft. Due to the induction heat, all tolerances and material properties are maintained without any loss. No further work steps are necessary. EDDYTHERM is a safe bearing induction heating tool that only heats the work piece, not the tool itself.
